Editing and unlocking BIOS
- AMIBCP
Unhides locked menus and changes default values in an offline Aptio image. After editing with 5.x, high-core Broadwell-EP chips can hang at POST 91.
- AMISCE
Works on a BIOS that is already flashed. Dumps every Setup variable to a text script, including options AMI never shows in the menu, and writes your edits back to NVRAM.
- MMTool
Opens the ROM file and edits the modules inside it. Used to add an NVMe DXE driver, update CPU microcode for a newer chip, remove an Option ROM to free space, or replace the boot logo.
- Ultimate Patcher Tool
Patcher for Chinese LGA2011-3 boards. Enables overclocking and undervolting from the BIOS, restores the memory timings menu, adds ReBAR, fixes Smart Fan after sleep, and dumps or flashes the chip.
- CoffeeTime
Patches a 100-series BIOS so a Coffee Lake CPU will boot on it. The download is inside our full Coffee Mod walkthrough, which also covers the board-side pin mod.
Flashing BIOS
- AFUWIN
AMI’s flasher for Windows, available as a console tool and a GUI. Dumps the current BIOS, checks the ROM ID, and writes the Main BIOS, Boot Block and NVRAM regions.
- AFUDOS
The DOS build of the same flasher, for when Windows blocks the write or the board will not load an OS. Includes the full switch reference, a bootable-USB walkthrough and every AFUDOS error code decoded.
- Intel Flash Programming Tool (FPT)
Writes the SPI chip directly through the chipset, including the ME and GbE regions AFU will not touch. The version must match your board’s Intel ME generation.
- Mi899
A collection of BIOS images for Chinese X79 and X99 boards, with an Intel FPT flasher built in. Pick a version and write it from the same window. Built by Miyconst.
Memory: timings and testing
- ASRock Timing Configurator
Shows every primary, secondary and tertiary timing plus the trained RTL/IOL values per channel, which the BIOS often does not display.
- Asus MemTweakIt
ASUS’s equivalent, with an efficiency score and saved profiles.
- TestMem5
Catches marginal instability that ordinary benchmarks miss, which is what you need when iterating on timings.

Drivers
- X79 driver pack
Chipset, audio, LAN, USB 3.0 and storage for LGA2011 boards.
- X99 driver pack
The same set for LGA2011-3, including a null HECI driver that clears the yellow-bang Intel ME entry these boards leave in Device Manager.
- LGA1700 driver pack
Chipset, graphics, audio, LAN and Wi-Fi for Chinese H610, B660 and B760 boards from Machinist, JGINYUE, Huananzhi, Kllisre, Qiyida, ZSUS and their rebrands. Everything comes from Intel and Realtek, not from the dead cloud link on the box.
- Intel iGPU Mod Drivers
Community builds that restore hardware acceleration and OpenGL for GMA and HD Graphics up to 4000, which current Windows drops to the Basic Display Adapter. On Windows 10 and 11 they only work with Test Mode left on permanently.
